About: 

Anne-Laure Brevet specialises in French language teaching at MMLL. She also works for the Faculty of History as a language teacher and gives extra-curricular supervisions in French for history students.

She also specialises in twentieth century British literature, particularly Doris Lessing.

She is the author of Le Personnage, ses figures et ses avatars (Atlande 2015), and the preface and notes to Doris Lessing, Le Carnet d鈥檕r et autres romans (Le Livre de Poche 2011).

Among other articles on nineteenth and twentieth century literature, she is the author of 鈥淔igures de la discontinuit茅 subjective dans A Proper Marriage de Doris Lessing鈥 (Presses Universitaires de Montpellier 2001), 鈥淔lights of Memory: Digression and Allusion in Doris Lessing鈥檚 The Memoirs of a Survivor鈥 (Presses Universitaires de Montpellier 2005), 鈥淭urner vu par Ruskin: la v茅rit茅 du regard鈥 (Presses Universitaires de Rennes 2010). She also contributed to entries on Doris Lessing for the online Literary Encyclopedia.

Prior to working at the 澳门六合彩开奖记录, Anne-Laure was 鈥楳a卯tre de Conf茅rences鈥 at the English Department of the University of West Brittany where she was involved in interdisciplinary courses including History (post-war Britain), British Literature and translation.

In 2008 she co-organised a roundtable on Doris Lessing at the annual congress of the Soci茅t茅 des Anglicistes de l鈥橢nseignement Sup茅rieur.

In 2012 she gave a lecture on The Golden Notebook for the Institute of Continuing Education at Madingley Hall.
