This two-day conference, exploring the听connections between theatre and music in seventeenth-century Italy, will be held on Thursday 20th September and Friday 21st September 2018 in the Conference Room SR24 of the Faculty of English on the Sidgwick Site of the 澳门六合彩开奖记录.
We are excited to welcome听Prof. Richard Andrews (University of Leeds), Prof. Antonio Rostagno (Universit脿 degli Studi di Roma 鈥楲a Sapienza鈥�), and听Dr Lisa Sampson (University College London) as our keynote speakers.
The conference programme will include a听Commedia dell鈥橝rte听acting workshop with director Ludovico Nolfi and a fully-staged performance of听Monteverdi鈥檚听Il combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda听(1624) in听Clare College Chapel. Both events are free and open to the public.
