Katherine Singer Kovacs Prize Awarded to Spanish & Portuguese Alumni

We would like to send our warmest congratulations to , who has been awarded the prestigious MLA鈥檚 for her book Humanizing Childhood in Early Twentieth-Century Spain (Legenda, 2020). The prize is awarded annually to an outstanding book published in English or Spanish in the field of Latin American and Spanish literatures and cultures.

Anna is clinical assistant professor of literature at New York University, Shanghai. She completed her PhD in the Section of Spanish and Portuguese in 2016. Before that, she had also studied in our ELAC MPhil in 2011.
