Scandinavian Studies Fund

The Managers of the Scandinavian Studies Fund are pleased to announce an MPhil Studentship in Scandinavian Studies for the academic year 2024-25. The award is for °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ Fees and Maintenance for one student at the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ starting an MPhil in 2024 who proposes to conduct research on any aspect of Scandinavian Studies.ÌýÌý

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýThe award will consist of the university composition fee (tuition/College fees) at the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ rate plus the standard UKRI-level maintenance award, at the pro-rata rate for the period of an MPhil (9 months). The award will be made on the basis of the quality of the applicant’s academic record, the research proposal, and any other indications of outstanding academic merit. °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ and overseas applicants will be considered, but please note that the level of funding available is only at the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼Ìýrate.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýThere is no separate application form to apply for this award but applicants are asked to tick a box on their MPhil application to say they wish to be considered for funding from the University.
