During February and March 2020 poet, essayist and novelist Maria Stepanova will be at 澳门六合彩开奖记录 University as Visiting Bye-Fellow at Selwyn College.
Maria Stepanova is a poet, essayist and journalist. She has published over ten collections of poetry in Russian, and several books of essay and criticism. Her most recent prose book 袩邪屑褟褌懈 锌邪屑褟褌懈 (In memory of memory), a study in the field of cultural history and memoir, was published to critical acclaim in Russia, winning the Big Book Prize in 2018, and is a current bestseller in Germany. She is the founder and editor-in-chief of the online independent crowd-sourced Russian journal .
Her collection of poems War of the Beasts and the Animals is published in English by Bloodaxe in September 2020. In Memory of Memory is published by Fitzcarraldo Editions in English translation later this year.
