Call for Applications: Postgraduate Workshop on ‘NATO, the US and the Crisis in Ukraine’

Calling all UK-based graduate students and early career researchers: °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ Ukrainian Studies, an academic centre in the Department of Slavonic Studies, is hosting a special workshop entitled 'NATO, the United States and the Crisis in Ukraine’.

The workshop will take place on Monday, 25 January 2016 from 11am to 3pm at King's College, °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼. For accepted workshop participants, costs for domestic economy train/coach travel to and from °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ will be reimbursed, and coffee and lunch provided.

The workshop will be conducted byÌýone of Ukraine’s foremost International Relations experts, Professor Volodymyr Dubovyk, Director of the Centre for International Studies and Associate Professor in the Department of International Relations at I. Mechnikov National University in Odesa.

Coming up: °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ Ukrainian Studies is also organising a postgraduate workshop on ‘The End of the Khazar Yoke’ with Dr Oleksiy Tolochko, Director of the Centre for Kievan Rus' Studies, Institute of Ukrainian History, National Academy of Sciences ofÌýUkraine. The workshop will be held on 12 February 2016; stay tuned for venue confirmation and details.
